WYCOB is pleased to announce that Pastor Dick Godfrey will be serving as our permanent pastor.
Pastor Godfrey has been a pastor for 25 years. He previously served as pastor at Madison Avenue Church of the Brethren, Gettysburg Church of the Brethren, and served as the Interim Pastor at Hanover Church of the Brethren. Pastor Godfrey has a background in butchering. He works 4 days a week in the butcher shop for Godfrey Meats. He has been cutting meat since he was a kid. He is married for 54 years to his wife, Gerry, who is retired as the minister at Hanover Church of the Brethren. They have 2 children and 6 grandchildren. Pastor Godfrey enjoys church work, leading Bible studies and teaching Sunday School.
He loves the outdoors, does a lot of mowing and used to play lots of softball.
We welcome Pastor Godfrey and look forward to our partnership in ministry with him.
