CAMP EDER DAY AT CHILI’S ~ AUGUST 19, 2010 ~ 11 AM-10 PM
Bring a coupon and 10% of your total bill will be donated to comp.  The proceeds will go toward resurfacing the pool.  See the church office or Nancy Buckingham for coupons.

The Brethren Home Auxiliary Chicken Barbeque, Quilt Auction & Car Show ~ August 21, 2010 
Items needed: Any new baskets can be used to make up theme baskets.  Handcrafted items, new or antique items, needlepoint, ceramics.  Also, Used Books Needed for sale at the Barbeque.  Donations should be put in the marked carton in the main lobby of the Healthcare Facility or at the postal center in Harmony Ridge.  Donations will be accepted until July 15^th.  Please Note: Books must be in good, usable condition!  Unusable books: National Geographics, Reader    Digest and Encyclopedias.

BRETHREN HOUSING ASSOCIATION’S 2010 CONCERT OF HOPE
SEPTEMBER 9, 2010  A ministry celebration will be held at the Elizabethtown COB on Thursday, Sept. 9th.  Featuring special music by guest Ken Medema.  Brethren Housing Assoc. has provide stable housing and supportive services to homeless single moms and their children since 1989.  Admission is free for this fundraiser event, however due to limited seating, complimentary tickets are required.  A free-will offering will be taken.  See bulletin board in the lobby for more info or call Elizabeth Schwartz at 717.571.5285.

DISASTER RELIEF AUCTION ~ LEBANON VALLEY EXPO CENTER
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 24 & SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2010
Theme Baskets, Baked Goods, Food & Supplies, Quilts and Share-A-Meal sponsors are being requested for the auction and food stands.  If you have more questions please contact Tony & Lois Hinson or the church office.  

CARLISLE TRUCK STOP CHAPLAIN MINISTRY BANQUETS
OCTOBER 2 & 30, 2010 Mark your calendars now!  Work has begun for the Fall Banquets to be held at New Fairview COB on Oct. 2^nd and Chambersburg COB on Oct. 30^th.  The Jacobs Brothers will be the entertainment on Oct. 2^nd.  The Cumberland Valley Quartet and Garments of Praise will be the entertainment on Oct. 30^th.  More details are on the Bulletin Board in the educational wing or see Sue Messinger for tickets.
